DND Graduate Students awarded Student Fellowships by local Alzheimer’s Society
PhD student Mr. Waylon Hunt (Supervisor: Dr. Chris Anderson) and M.Sc. student Ms. Solmaz Nafez (Supervisor: Dr. Ben Albensi) have been awarded “Alzheimer Society, Manitoba Chapter – Graduate Student Fellowships“. In addition to a cash prize of $3,000 each, they have been invited to attend a special ceremony organized by the Centre on Aging on May 5th, 2008 held at the Bannatyne Campus.
Both Waylon and Solmaz are currently graduate students in the Dept. of Pharmacology & Therapeutics, University of Manitoba.
