SCRC affiliate members Drs. Benedict Albensi and Paul Fernyhough have both been awarded sizable grants in the latest round of CHIR funding, for their research projects in neurodegenerative diseases.
Dr. Albensi’s projet is Sex-based differences associated with mitochondrial dysfunction in Alzheimer’s disease.
Dr. Fernyhough’s projet is Muscarinic receptor antagonism as a novel mechanism for sensory nerve repair.
