Achievements by SCRC trainees at CSHRF

The SCRC would like to highlight a few achievements by its trainees at the recent Canadian Students Health Research Forum. Both of these trainees are Ph.D. students in Dr. Soheila Karimi‘s lab.

Arsalan Alizadeh, recipient of the 2017 Drewry Award for Excellence of Research in the Health Sciences, delivered the 2018 Drewry Memorial Lecture.

Christopher Hart won three awards including a Gold Poster Award from the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Gold CIHR Poster Award in the national poster competition, and on top of these he won a Gairdner Student Award presented to the top five students in the national CIHR poster competition to attend the 2018 Gairdner Award Symposium and Gala being held in Toronto in the fall.

Congratulations to both of you!
