The SCRC wishes to congratulate Dr. Eftekhar Eftekharpour and Dr. Soheila Karimi on being awarded a three-year grant from the Wings for Life Spinal Cord Research Foundation. Their project, “Targeting excessive lysosomal activity for prevention of cell death and enhanced tissue preservation after spinal cord injury”, was accepted for funding by the foundation last week. The grant is for a total of €300,000 (approx. $480,000 Cdn).
